We spend a lot of time driving from Texas to Illinois. It's about a 12 hour drive if you go nonstop. I personally prefer to go nonstop but with a wife and a baby stopping is a good idea. So we end up stopping at a lot of hotels in between. I epically liked this one because BREAKFAST!
The front desk area was clean and well kept. And we did have some problems with our room but management took care of it right away. Overall we had a good experience here.
They also have a gym and a pool. We were too tired from driving to partake but it's nice that the choice was there!
And now we've made it to the room!
The room is pretty good, there is even a fridge and a microwave! I have been to plenty of hotels where you have to pay extra for that kind of luxury.
Now what you've been waiting for. The breakfast! It was actually pretty good. I am pretty easy to please when it comes to breakfast buffets though. The sandwiches were pretty good. There was bacon! The egg tarts (?) were also good.
We had our breakfast in the room before hitting the road. It really does make things more simple when there's food included with your room. So I will always look for a place like this!
